Supra win for Rochdale aeration company

An innovative Rochdale aeration company has scooped a prestigious business award.

Suprafilt, which is based on Albion Road Industrial Estate, won ‘Business of the Year at the Rochdale Business Awards 2012.

The company has tripled turnover in the last 12months and works with some of the UK’s major water companies and leading industrial organisations, such as Seven Trent Water, Thames Water and Diageo.  It specialises in aeration technology, designs and manufactures energy efficient fine bubble diffused aeration solutions, and a range of stainless steel products including pipework and pressure vessels.

Graeme Fielden, Sales Director at Suprafilt, says:  “We’re over the moon to be recognised as Business of the Year in our category. We’ve grown over 200 per cent in the last year alone, despite a recession, which is testament to the passion and commitment of our entire team.
